SECTORAL TECHNOLOGY CENTRE IN GASTRONOMY

The Basque Culinary Center has created the world’s first technology centre specialised in gastronomy, BCC Innovation, which aspires to become a global reference. This centre will make it possible to create knowledge on the gastronomy sector and will meet several goals, such as “transforming knowledge into wealth, promoting innovation in businesses and actively participating to support the creation of new businesses, guaranteeing the future of the sector”.

BCC Innovation will be formed by a team of 25 people, including researchers from different fields, technicians and managers. In the year 2017 the R&D centre of the Basque Culinary Center collaborated with more than 40 businesses and institutions, in association with renowned research centres and through public and private projects.
